Indulgence at first sip

Our vineyards are located – as we in the lowlands like to say – on the mountain.

Wines with character

Not only does our wine estate in Jois feature a fantastic view of Lake Neusiedl, it also offers marvellous vistas of the surrounding vineyards. Here, our vineyards are at home in the very best locations. Be it the Jungenberg, the Leitha Mountains or their foothills, each area has its very own structure with nuances that can clearly be distinguished in the taste of the wines.

Our family places great value on regionality and sustainability, which is why for us it is a matter of course to only cultivate resistant varieties that are typical of the region in our vineyards. We sow special crops to keep the soils rich in nutrients, use manual pruning and reduction to ensure the high quality of the grapes, and use our extensive knowledge and instinct to turn these into characteristic wines for unforgettable moments of indulgence.

Our 3 wine ranges

Classic

These fruit-focused wines with their note of elegance have an animating effect on the taste buds.

Jungenberg

Wines with an exquisite minerality that provide a complex experience on the palate with an exceptionally elegant touch.

Exclusiv

Fruit and wood unite to create harmonious wines with a full body and a powerful structure.

In the best wine-growing regions

Jungenberg

This top location is characterised by mineral primary rock consisting of quartz and slate covered by a layer of Muschelkalk from the Ice Age around 3 million years ago. The southern slope in particular features optimum conditions for Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc.

Leitha Mountains

The Leitha Mountains were formed around 30 million years ago; their mineral soils are characterised by Leitha limestone and Muschelkalk. The forest causes temperatures to drop lower at night, giving the grapes a noticeable aroma. Ideal for Chardonnay, Welschriesling, Blaufränkisch and Merlot.

Foothills of the
Leitha Mountains

The vineyards on the Atlasberg, Wurmtriestel, Übermass and Lange Ohn impress with their deep soils characterised by clay and black earth with lower layers of lime. As if made for our Zweigelt.
